Detective Conan Chapter 20 Facts

 As a longtime fan of Detective Conan and Magic Kaito, it was a real bummer to see that the anime never took advantage of the crossovers between them. Detective Conan/Magic Kaito crossover Anime-only fans were like: "What are they talking about? What happened? What was supposed to happen?" In an effort to right this wrong, I have taken the liberty of working the timings of these all-important crossovers into where they fit in with their Detective Conan episode counterparts (I think some one did this before me, but couldn't find it). The Internet can thank me later. The only issue is that the Magic Kaito episodes are entirely out of order. But, the order really does not matter for that series as it does with Conan, as the series is entirely episodic beyond pretty much the first episode. So, you can ignore that and watch that series in any order you wish.

However, now that Magic Kaito has finally received an adequate anime adaptation, I have worked the timings of these all-important crossovers into their Detective Conan episode counterparts, making the crossovers whole for once. After years of uncertainty, Detective Conan fans have finally received word that the TV series based on AOYAMA Gosho's Magic Kaito manga will be receiving a proper adaptation, and at last all the crossovers with Detective Conan are animated. Finally seeing those crossovers animated allows them to actually have their full effect, as the timing makes it very clear that the events of Magic Kaito once again revolved around Detective Conan. Again, I have worked with timings to match these episodes with their proper counterparts in Detective Conan, so that they may be watched in order.

Artistic, who has seen both series, has put together a list of the crossovers between the Detective Conan and Magic Kaito. The anime adaptations of Magic Kaito doesn't occur in chronological order, but the order doesn't matter as much since they're mostly episodic stories.
